Composite K and LL brake blocks replace cast-iron blocks on freight wagons, including the first LL composite block worldwide to gain UIC approval. Composite blocks keep the wheel tread smoother, so rolling noise drops substantially. Retrofitting wagons with quieter brake blocks is cheaper noise control than line-side barriers.
For medium to high thermal loads, we supply brake linings made of organic material. They are applied on passenger stock, light rail vehicles, EMUs, DMUs and high-speed trains.

K brake blocks
CompositeSynthetic K blocks keep the wheel tread smoother, so rolling noise drops. Quieter wagons cut noise nuisance by around 80%, a cheaper measure than acoustic barriers along the track.
Disc brake lining
OrganicBrake lining made of organic material for medium to high thermal loads. Applied on passenger stock, light rail vehicles, EMUs, DMUs and high-speed trains.
